The Chapin Girls Dance program is comprised of three dance teams:  The Chapin High School Varsity Team, The Chapin High School Junior Varsity Team, and The Chapin Middle School Team.  Dancers for the teams are students in the Chapin area schools. The coaching staff is comprised of head coach Brittany Olecheck Orr, assistant coaches Hayley Olecheck, Nicole Urbany, and Raygan Brown, and ballet instructor Kim Langley. The dancers perform at school athletic events, school pep rallies, and various dance competitions in Lexington-Richland District Five.  The teams also compete at state, regional, and national dance competitions. Since the program was founded in 2009, the Chapin Girls are 15-time National Champions and the current reigning State Champions in both Varsity and Junior Varsity Pom, earning a total of 11 state titles over the past four years. In order to compete at the national level, the Chapin Girls Dance teams rely on the Chapin Girls Dance Booster Club, Inc. (a non-profit booster club comprised of volunteer parents and Coach Orr).  In addition to day-to-day club management duties, the club coordinates fundraising efforts and corporate sponsorship solicitations because the teams do not receive school or district funding. 

With the assistance of the booster club, the varsity and junior varsity dance teams host a summer dance clinic each year for ages 4 through rising 4th graders. The clinics give the Chapin Girls Dance Team an opportunity to share their love for dance with young, aspiring dancers. The proceeds from these clinics help fund the annual trip each March to the Contest of Champions Nationals competition held in Orlando, Florida.

The Chapin dancers are committed to their sport and working toward earning National titles. They are also committed to their schools and are expected to be exemplary students and citizens.  In addition to supporting various athletic programs at the Chapin schools, they also engage in several community service projects each year.
